Concerning your comments and questions, something I know I will answer if not I’ll do some GOOGLING! :D for you. Most computer problems can be resolved by what geeks like to say "GTFP!" But sometimes if you're new or not of this generation, it might be frustrating and you don't know where to start. So hopefully, I can help you a bit if that is your case.
Just so you know, here is my disclaimer :)
If you’re willing and consent to my help, you can’t blame me for something else that happens to your computer. I’ll document everything I do for you just in case at a later time you do something and mess up your computer you might blame on me. The documentation is so you can show it to your tech who probably charges you $300 for these really simple fixes! PC Techs always asked you what you done to your computer, it's not an accusation- its building history and them trying to identify the source of the problem. My documentation may help him, but computer problems don’t wait 3 days or months later to come up with a symptom like us humans! That's just saying, if anything goes wrong caused by our session, we would know almost immediately. Unless, of course you been naughty and searching things and downloading bootlegs that you shouldn’t, then you could have a virus that may attack erratically or only when you open certain programs. Other than that, everything we do should have immediate effects.
To summarize, this disclaimer said that you won't hold me responsible for any damages to your computer when you consent to my assistance. I'm not a full time PC Tech, but I'm a computer science student and have been messing around with computer for quite sometime now. So if you're looking for certifications credentials I don't have it. It simply cost too much to get. But you as much as the next person, I like taking advantage of free stuff, so I got my hands on two test vouchers from high school and so I'm A+ and Vista Certified. Basically that's what is required by most of your Tech and Geek Supporters that you take your computers to at some shop. Another plus for the techies is the Network+. I may just have the means in the future to play with taking exams and get a CCNA Certification from Cisco instead :D, CCNA is like the mother of Networking Certifications.
